Addiction Recovery Coaching

Break Through What You Have Been Through.

You Don’t Have to Live in The Shadows

Love is the antidote to addiction, it’s the ensouling affection that comes from connecting with others. This love transfigures addictions as one redefines the relationship between love and life. Such love does not exist in isolation, so we move toward others to find and develop it. Men In Recovery is a judge free community from all walks of life built from life experiences.

What is a Recovery Coach

Recovery Coaches are individuals in long-term recovery who combine their lived experience with professional training to support clients in finding their own paths to recovery. Recovery Coaches collaborate with their clients to create recovery plans unique to each client’s personal needs. Beyond helping clients set goals and develop the plans to meet those goals, Recovery Coaches go on to provide needed support and encouragement along the way. Provide clients with knowledge, resources and community connections to assist in overcoming obstacles and finding recovery. Men In Recovery Coaching is available to meet with clients in person or virtually and offer online group sessions.

About Men in Recovery Coaching

As a Certified Professional Recovery Coach I know that sober living doesn't happen overnight. I believe in practical steps that propel you forward with resilience, discipline, and accountable partnership. I'm not a therapist or a theorist, but I do believe in transparency when it comes to addiction. I learned the hard way through my own path to recovery. The joy of freedom on the other side is more than worth it! It's not going to be easy but together we will create a structured plan for sobriety and recovery.

Healing from addiction demands vulnerability and self-honesty. As your coach, I want to help you create a positive relationship with yourself. Sessions are always a non-judgement zone, and your privacy is always at the forefront. The truth is only you can do the work. I'm here to make sure you have the tools you need.

One of my main goals is to find an approach that works for you. Addiction is different for everyone. Your story, experiences, shortcomings, and lifestyle influenced how you got here. I'm here to help you identify your barriers and your success points.

My story...

I grew up in a conservative culture and religious family. As a result of early childhood trauma, I developed a lot of addictive patterns and behaviors to medicate the feelings and emotions I could not understand. I was exposed to pornography, alcohol, and drugs by the age of 10 paving the road to my addiction that struggled to overcome for more than 30 years.

My journey to recovery began after I almost lost everything in my life due to my addictive behaviors. That terrible experience led me to seek help of counselors, mentors, support groups, and consume every resource on addiction recovery I could find. I have applied what I learned to myself to develop new beliefs, values, and a deeper relationship with God, reprogramming the way I see myself and the world. A renewed mind has led to sustained victory in my sobriety and recovery.

Because I spent so much time in the trenches of overcoming my addictions to sex, alcohol and drugs, complications associated with complex trauma, together with education and compassion I coach others on ways that lead to transformative healing that comes only through love, support, and healthy relationships.

The methods I teach and practice, provide practical tools to manage negative emotions and thought patterns while equipping you with skills that will enable you to live a life on the journey to a healthier you. Most of all, I help men find that freedom from the emotional prisons rooted in unhealed wounds. Nothing brings more happiness and purpose than witnessing the successful walk of one from brokenness to wholeness that only comes from breaking through what you’ve been through into freedom.
