Addiction Recovery Coaching

Break Through What You Have Been Through.

You Don’t Have to Live in The Shadows

Love is the antidote to addiction. Empathy is the antidote to shame. Both are the ensouling affection that comes from healthy connections with others. Love transfigures addictions as we redefine the relationship between love and life. Such love does not exist in isolation, so we move toward others to find and develop it. Here at Men In Recovery, we are a judge free community from all walks of life providing love and support in your journey.

What is a Recovery Coach

Recovery Coaches are individuals in long-term recovery who combine their lived experience with professional training to support clients in finding their own paths to recovery. Recovery Coaches collaborate with their clients to create recovery plans unique to each client’s personal needs. Beyond helping clients set goals and develop the plans to meet those goals, Recovery Coaches go on to provide needed support and encouragement along the way. Coaches provide clients with knowledge, resources and community connections to assist them in overcoming obstacles and finding recovery. Men In Recovery Coaching is available to meet with clients in person or virtually. We also have virtual support groups.

A friend is always loyal, and a brother is born to help in time of need.

Men in Recovery Coaching (MIR) understands sobriety after addiction can be difficult enough and even more challenging to stay sober without help from others. No one needs to feel like they have to fight the battle completely on their own. Men In Recovery Coaching is here to build you up at your weakest point through focusing on your entire life as part of your healing process. Through support, experience, and education, MIR will help you focus on your values and guide you in making principle-based decisions to develop the necessary course of action to fight the powerful cycle of addiction rooted in complex trauma and brokenness.

What is brokenness?

I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up [that which was] broken and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment. Ezekiel 34:16

Emotional brokenness - Mind

Neurobiology of Addiction - Body

The Spiritual Side of Addiction - Soul

True mind, body, soul recovery can bring hope to recovering addicts and provide a foundation of health and wellness that facilitates long-term sobriety for recovery. Every journey is different, but recovery is possible for every addict. True recovery is not just behavior modification. We have to go beyond sobriety, taking a holistic approach to recovery.  At MIR, we address not just the behavioral manifestations of addiction, but the toll that it takes on our physical, emotional, and spiritual lives.  We provide you with the necessary tools to live a new way of life, with integrity and character, on a journey to being whole.
